Bringing the print magazine Business Spotlight for learners of Business English into an interactive digital language learning product that is tailored to the needs of the target group.
Developing a concept for a user-friendly web app that presents the content of the print magazine Business Spotlight in digital form – with the addition of audio content and interactive language exercises – thus enabling learners to achieve a high level of Business English whilst also serving as a blueprint for the digitisation of further language learning magazines from the portfolio of the publishing house.
A user-focused web app concept that can be used as the basis for implementation and as a blueprint for further language portals operated by the publishing house.
1. Product discovery: Market data analysis and user data recording as the basis for creating a concept for a digital portal for interactive learning and improving foreign language skills.
2. Lean branding: Workshops to develop the brand and to find a suitable name, developing the visual design, including a pattern library for the mobile and desktop versions of the web app.
3. UX/UI design: Agile sprints were used to develop and optimise the design of the interactive features of the web app.
4. Roadmap: Handover of the design concept, including vision and feature backlog for future optimisation.
